-
• Ga Kho Gung – A classic Vietnamese dish of caramelised chicken cooked with ginger in a savoury-sweet sauce. This comforting dish balances the warmth of fresh ginger, the umami of fish sauce, and the rich sweetness of caramel, making it a beloved part of home-style Vietnamese cuisine.
• Chả Cá (pronounced “cha ka”) – A traditional Vietnamese dish originating from Hanoi, known for its unique preparation of fish marinated and then grilled or pan-fried, served with a range of fresh herbs, noodles, and a tangy dipping sauce. The dish is often referred to as Chả Cá Lã Vọng, named after the famous restaurant in Hanoi where it was first popularised.
• Gỏi Cuốn, also known as Vietnamese Spring Rolls or Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls – A popular, fresh, and healthy dish often served as a snack, appetizer, or light meal. These translucent rice paper rolls are filled with a variety of fresh ingredients, creating a deliciously vibrant and nutritious bite.
