Perfect for beginners and foodies alike, this class will teach you how to craft traditional nigiri, classic maki rolls, fun inside-out uramaki, and hand-held temaki cones. With expert guidance, you’ll learn the techniques behind perfect rice, balanced fillings, and beautiful presentation—turning simple ingredients into edible art. All tools and ingredients are provided, so just bring your curiosity (and your appetite). By the end, you’ll not only gain new skills but also get to savour your very own sushi creations!
-
Nigiri – A simple and traditional type of sushi where a slice of fish is placed on top of a small ball of rice.
Maki – Sushi that’s rolled up in seaweed with rice, fish, or veggies inside. It’s like a tasty sushi roll!
Uramaki – A fun kind of sushi roll that’s “inside out,” with the rice on the outside and the seaweed and fillings inside.
Temaki – A fun, cone-shaped sushi that you hold in your hand! It’s like a hand roll wrapped in seaweed, with tasty fillings inside.

You do not need to bring anything with you – we provide the aprons, ingredients and equipment
You’ll be taught by our expert chef – we encourage guests to ask questions, get involved and most importantly – have fun!
Every group cooks at their own pace, so class times can vary a little. We’ll always aim to stick to the schedule, but things might wrap up a bit earlier or run a little longer depending on how everyone’s getting on.
We love using fresh, seasonal produce, so ingredients might change slightly from class to class. Don’t worry – any swaps will be just as tasty and in keeping with the spirit of the dish!
Enjoy your feast in our kitchen with a drink from our carefully picked selection of beers, wines or soft drinks – or pack it up to take home. It’s up to you!
