-
Panang curry (also spelled “Phanaeng”) is a rich, creamy Thai curry made with coconut milk, Panang curry paste, and typically meat like chicken, beef, or shrimp. It’s milder and thicker than other Thai curries, with a slightly sweet, nutty flavour that is enhanced by ground peanuts and fragrant kaffir lime leaves.
Pad Kra Pao (also spelled “Pad Krapow”) – A popular Thai stir-fry dish made with minced meat – often beef, pork or chicken – cooked with heaps of garlic, chili, lemongrass and holy basil. It’s savoury, spicy, and aromatic, served over rice and topped with a crispy fried egg.
Khao Soi is a Northern Thai curry noodle soup made with a rich, coconut milk-based curry broth, typically served with soft egg noodles and topped with super crispy fried noodles. It often features chicken or beef and balances creamy, spicy, and tangy flavours. Delicious!
