Learn Versatile Chicken Recipes
Unlock the full potential of one of the world’s most versatile ingredients in our Chicken Class! This hands-on workshop takes you from butchery to beautifully cooked dishes, showing how to break down a whole chicken with confidence and turn every part into something delicious. You’ll master a variety of bold, globally-inspired recipes—from crispy butterfly legs and fiery salt & pepper wings to golden panko drumsticks and a silky spinach-Parmesan chicken breast.
Whether you’re looking to minimise waste, boost your kitchen skills, or simply love chicken, this class promises big flavours, practical techniques, and a satisfying culinary experience.
-
- Butcher the whole chicken – Break down your whole chicken, separating the breasts, wings, drumsticks, thighs and let’s not forget the oysters.
- Crispy Butterfly Chicken Legs: Big flavour and crisp skin – what’s not to love? These butterfly-cut chicken legs are grilled or roasted till golden, then brushed with a sticky beer glaze that packs in richness and depth. Juicy, crispy, and properly satisfying.
- Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings – A Chinese takeaway favourite made from scratch. Crispy-fried wings tossed with toasted garlic, chilli and spices – simple ingredients, massive flavour. Great for sharing (but you might want them all to yourself).
- Panko & Togarashi Crusted Drumsticks – Crispy, crunchy, with a gentle heat – these drumsticks are coated in light, golden panko breadcrumbs and a punchy Japanese spice blend. Cooked until perfectly crisp, they’re packed with texture and full-on flavour.
- Pan-Fried Chicken Breast with Spinach & Parmesan Sauce –
Juicy chicken breast, pan-seared until golden, served with a creamy spinach and Parmesan sauce. It’s rich, silky, and super satisfying – brilliant with mash or a hunk of crusty bread.
